2006 is the third year in which the Australian Senior Championship has been conducted as the Australian Lacrosse League (ALL). The concept has been well received with the 2004 and 2005 competitions providing the opportunity for the best lacrosse players in Australia to play more games on the artificial surfaces which are used for international competitions, and also to gain exposure for lacrosse through the television broadcast of both events.
The Australian Lacrosse League is managed for Lacrosse Australia by a private company, Sports Management Pty Ltd.
ALL Team Nomination Fee 2006 – This is required to be paid by each participating association before the following dates (tax invoices will be issued):
June 1 – $5,500 (including GST)
August 1 – $7,700 (including GST)
September 15 – $7,700 (including GST)
2006 Game Schedule
To minimise travel costs, fares must be booked early. Before booking travel the proposed game times will be ascertained from host associations (with venues booked), then teams will be invited to nominate preferred travel times. This information is being requested from associations in separate correspondence.
